It has been a magnificent election season of speeches, debates, television ads, robo calls, interviews and personifications. We learned just how important communication skills are, and how effective or ineffective they can be! Any deviations or faux pas from the candidates’ speech were made fun of and the brilliant remarks were praised. Tone of speech, body language, and meaning behind words were analyzed and critiqued. It was clear evidence that the way we speak is extremely important. And if you want to be at the top, your speech must match your aspirations! Take time this week to think about your own speech and whether or not it will make you a winner in your career goals.
